Default Console Layout

I'm starting to get my console played out.

Planing to go with the following

Garmin 94sv GPS/Fish Finder
Standard Horizon GX1300 VHF
Fusion RA70 Stereo
A tach, Gas gauge, Volt meter.

A switch panel with Bocatech switches and a 12voly plug.

My question is how many switches will I need?

I have 2 bilge pumps, 1 baitwell pump, that needs to connect.
I know I need 1 nav lights, and I want some under the gunnel lighting and 1 for the future t-top lights.

How many do I really need with not going overboard?
Is 8 enough?

How many loads do you want switched and how many loads do you want wired to a fuse panel?

I'm restoring an old Whaler and just pre-wired the console while it was out of the boat. I elected to only have 3 switched loads and with one spare; Nav lights, Courtesy lights, manual bilge pump. 12V outlet, GPS, Stereo will be to fuse panel.

You might want one for a wash down pump or even
locker lights ? (every compartment has a light) ...
Two that I have on "Bones" that are used on a regular basis.

Here are before and after on my Seafari project currently underway..

So here's what I'm initially thinking

1 Garmin 94 sv in the middle
Standard Horizon vhf to the left
Fusion stereo under the vhf

To the right goes the tach fuel volt and water temp gauges

Underneath goes the panel with 8 switches a 12 volt power suppy and USB port

Would like to go with Bocatech switches but have not made up my mind or the budget

Didn't see a PM come through.

I like your new layout. Wondering about the VHF over the fusion radio... the mic wire may hang over the fusion a bit.. I'm having trouble figuring out where to put mine.

It’s just to see the best layout but I see what you mean about the mic Cord hanging over the stereo.

Resent the pm but where did you order the panel?
