Fred,
I would very much like your bow rail. Is it off the boat yet?

Dave,
Still on the boat...removing on Saturday.. and have no problem holding the rail till picked up whenever!
I forgot that one end of rail that mounts to hull cap has a different end mount than the factory mount...don't want you to waste your gas if that is a problem !!!
I will post more pictures of rail ends etc. when I get home.

Fred,
No problem on the mount. My only dilemma is how to get it from you to me. I'll do a little PMing and see what I can work out.

Jim,
Thanks for the offer. I'd like your part so I can make it match. I'll be happy to pay for shipping.

Ken,
Thanks for your offer, too. I'm thinking our little buddy, GFS, will be passing through Fred's home town on the way to the fall gathering. If I can talk him into lashing the rail to his Slacker, and Fred's willing to hold onto it for another month, we may have a solution.

Damn, this is a cool site.

Dave

Dave...rail is off...I will hang onto it for as long as needed....stuck it behind my hibiscus bushes...main rail in decent shape..it is useable!

Ken..Wish I could make it to gathering..I am now working two jobs plus still deputy reserve officer in my spare time

Sandy or Denny...I can take rail to your house(s) if you want to transport later. It is in two sections so not too big!

I have a pulput and the appropriate rail sitting in my yard waiting to be installed on my Tsunami. For those of you that have a rail: Can you walk the gunnel to the bow with the rail in place? My top has hindered the use of my windshield access and I am concerned the rail will all but totally end any chance of accessing the bow.

I also considered shortening the back end length and overall height to leave room. Any thoughts?
