Dave, thats really cool, I'm thinking you guys will be proud of how she comes out! The person I bought it from told me about the day your dad sold it. He said it was a tough detachment, to say the least. Cheers. She will be getting plenty of use.

Would anyone know of any examples of a raised floor on a 20' SF?

Any details appreciated, like motor weight, bracket, waterline, trailered or kept in water, etc. Thanks, Andrew

look at caymanboy and stricks builds just off hand ... both have raised floors and brackets.. that will be enough foder to keep your reading and drooling for awhile !!!! then you can check out Marks it has raised floor and motor on transome.. Marks has a good photo journal on the galleries page of the website..

nice console, perfect for a 20'

To your stringer question: there is no reason they could not be perfectly fine. Just clean up around the bases so you can see if they are delaminated anywhere, and check for any cracking. Drill test holes at the bottom to see if foam is wet, if not, fill holes with putty and put a little piece of glass over it.

Garmin 740s w/ airmar 1000W transducer
Fusion Marine radio w/ 500w marine amp
Saltwater washdown
41 kts @ 5600 wot w/ aprx 25 gallons fuel & 1 person (some dialing in to do)
200 small-block Etec

Additional flush mount cleats
