Yeah,
Don't know the guy, but judging by his phone #, its the same Rich who gets accused of spamming all of the So Cal CLs and gets flagged regularly in SD.

Based on previous behavior I'm guessing the chief moderator will bounce him if he doesn't respect the donation honor code here...

Nice lookin boat at $5750 w/twin 84 merc 150s. Maybe he put a late model 250 merc on it and jacked up his price. Or maybe he's tryin to jack a CSC buyer...

Yes it was on CL for $5800 with no batterys, no gas tank, and two motors that did not run.
2 Water pumps, 4 thermostats, 2 poppit valves, 6 carb rebuilds, 1 new fuel tank and 2 lines, 2 marine batterys, all DMV fees and new tags for boat and trailer. All that for $3700 increase in price and it's still OBO!!!

I donated the $25 to. I also vote and pay taxes. I am the same Rich that posts ad's on CL for boats and motors. I have a shop in Capistrano Beach. It's on Victoria Blvd off Camino Capistrano. I do not "jack" anyone. I am a small shop with a great reputation. Come by and see the Sea Craft or my collection of antique outboards or stop in and pick up a used part for your outboard. I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. I have two sons that I raise properly and demonstrate proper work ethic and the value of a dollar to. "jacking" is somthing that drug addicts do.

Alright calm down welcome to Csc! I was just asking a question. Dont worry there are plenty of drunks and druggies on here, we dont mind. Good luck with the sale, please post up some pics, they should help get some action going.

Sorry I get a little worked up.
Here are some pictures. They are not great but you can get the idea. The electronics are old except for the fish finder. I plan to install a new VHF (the old one works)and Radio before it goes down the road. After seeing a bunch of CSS owners boats on this sight I realized that this boat would look great with a T-top. I'm trying to find a good deal on a used one for this boat now.
The two rear tires on the trailer and brand new too.

My apologies, Rich.
Like I said it's a nice looking boat and I'd already forwarded the CL listing to some friends in SD.
I've seen your antiques posted and they look impressive. I wasn't accusing you of spamming nor did i intend to imply that, in fact I have defended your postings (not that you need defending) in San Diego to the "flagger" only to be flagged myself. If I had the $ I'd have bought the 225 Opti I think you had listed... I believe CL is intended to bring buyer and seller together and get out of the way. Sorry I got in the way here.

I was under the impression this SeaCraft was only in need of a gas tank, but in no way meant to imply that you were trying to "jack" anybody. Just wordplay off "jacking up the price."

"Previous behavior" reference was not to you but to that of this forum's moderator when he saw someone trying to sell something on this site while posting it for less, elsewhere.

Good luck with the sale and please accept my humble apology. Peace.
-Gill

BY the way, I can remove the Merc's and sell just the boat and trailer for less $$ if you want different motor(s) on it. I can also install your motor(s) on it for you or I could install a 225 Evinrude that I am currentlt re-building. Just wanted to throw some options out there. I will seperate the package or put a package together any way you want.
