Default Any Stripers in Outer Banks or Virginia Beach?

Have 7 days off and want to get out of South Cackalacki! Free place to stay on Wanchese, then continue north to VaBeach to see an old girlfriend. I know, long way for a short stay...but I thought I could get a little fishing in, too! Otherwise solo trip with 15 Whaler over to Tampa for Big Reds which I have here right now. Anyone? Thanks, Mike.

Hey Vezo- rockfish are hot up here right now- Oregon Inlet is hot, lots of nice fish being caught down there- if you are towing and fishing your ride and have never fished the "Inlet" be very careful and follow someone- very dangerous inlet and people get swamped every year trying to fish those shoals surrounding the inlet. Va Beach is on and off day to day. South out of rudee is very good right now on a daily basis with lots of nice fish. The big slobs (40#+) are still a little north . This friday and i am off for the x-mas holidays and plan on going a lot. Give me a call when you come up to the beach and you are welcome to ride if we can work it out time wise. My phone number is 757-426-3301. Craig

Craig, enjoying your first day off? Hatteras, two days ago, 550# giant, $6000 back at the dock. Reports Stripers are thick. Thinking of heading up Sunday, and still trying to squeeze an overnight or possibly two in Va Beach. How is the weather shaping up for Tues. or Wed.? If you get a shot on Monday, does that rule out Tues. or Wed.? Mike. 843 816 1516.

Craig, ON MY WAY! Should arrive 6:30 or 7 tonight. Bringing gear for surf and boat. Staying on 65th St. Leaving crack of dawn on Thursday. At least lets get together to enjoy the "Five O'Clock Somewhere" Theory. Mike.
