Re: Seventy Five Grand 23' SeaCraft
Odd that the max speed is only listed as 46 mph.I would think it should be more like 56 mph with 400 hp pushing it. A 23' Intrepid with a single 225 will do 46 mph WOT.Must be very heavy with all the teak etc.The boat is about 15 min away from me I am on my way to see!

HermCo-
Did you check it out? What the deal with it, any idea what console that is or if anyone is willing to pat 75g's for the thing? Can't wait to hear the scoop. |

Re: Seventy Five Grand 23' SeaCraft
Went by and they had a full cover on it.I did not want to ask them to remove it just for me as I have no interest in purchasing it.It is next door to one of my suppliers so I will keep an eye out for when it is uncovered.I believe it was in the Palm Beach boat show in March.Bill saw it and told me to go check it out but I never got around to it. Re: Seventy Five Grand 23' SeaCraft
That forward swept arch just killed any chance of me gunnin' for it ... What were they thinking? Ohh - Show, not fish...
That console is pretty sweet, somewhere between the standard console and a Hinkley Jet Boat CC. Need to lose the woodgrain though. I hear slamming fish delaminates a Caddy dash...

Re: Seventy Five Grand 23' SeaCraft
I believe it is what I would call a Palm Beach cocktail cruiser.Sort of a waste of a great fishing boat.

NOW THERE IS A GUY THAT IS SAYING WHAT WE ALL BELIEVE OUR BOAT IS REALLY WORTH IF WE INCLUDE ALL OUR HARD WORK AND INCLUDE OUR PERSONAL PRIDE FACTOR TO THE VALUE ON THE BOAT.

Re: Seventy Five Grand 23' SeaCraft
Went and looked at it today! Looks great but I would'nt like to be in charge of keeping the wood looking good.Way too much work. The salesman tells me the price has dropped to $69,000.00!The console came from another boat mfg.I dont know who. There was another Seacraft there done by the same person/company with the motor bracket mounted too low that will have to be removed and raised to make the boat run right.

Re: Seventy Five Grand 23' SeaCraft
I kind of liked the wood work. Kinda has the Buddy Davis look to her and no I wouldn't mind cleaning fish guts off of her wood and cleaning it up one bit. There is an old 24 Blackfin cencer console- with a cuddy cabin across the creek from me that did one better. Had the topside gunnels all teaked in amidships aft with the classic Carolina fish box and it is "SWEEEEEETTTTT". Oils it weekly, lolol. Craig
