Default My toy for the next week

My wife's new car...Acura RDX with all the bells and whistles is not here yet and the X3 we gave to one of the boys ...so I was going to be short a car this week.
My brother was over and heard about it and told me to go by and pick up his extra car

911 twin turbo that is really fast!!!

He called me today to see if I liked it...I told him to start looking for a repossession company to get it back

Plain and simple, I would be in jail !! Fast cars and speed have a problem with me since 14 years old... My uncle had a 1964 Galaxie 500XL with a 427 4 speed convertible..... Red with white top. Ask me how that changed my life !

Shoot, I'm having a hard enough time with a zero turn mower now, let alone a joystick sports car !

Three calls

1 Hospital
2 Jail
3 Morgue

My childhood friends wonder how much a safe drivers endorsement
costs in Fl.

Had a 69 Charger with the 150 mph speedometer and yes you can bury the needle ! Scary part was trying to stop with the 10” MANUAL drum brakes! Had to let up and let them cool off thank God there was practically no one on alligator alley at 3 am back then . Funny how much narrower it gets? Thankfully new cars have brakes that better match the car

Default Two Corvettes

Sorry couldn't resist all the fast car talk My Corvette ownership covered a "61, '65 and '68 for a total of 34 years. We were not rich but Dad thought kids who got into trouble had too much time on their hands. Therefore he would finance them and I worked food stores or construction to cover the payments. My favorite was the '65 fastback with a 365 HP 327 with solid lifters and Muncie 4 speed. With a 6500 rpm redline you could downshift into 3rd at about 75 mph and shift back at about 100. A sweet machine.

I got a ticket in the mail for 40 points in my youth.
First charge was attempting to elude.

Why the mail?
