Default Help: Rub Rail suggestions?

Hi guys,

Hope you all are doing ok in this mess.

I’m priming and painting over the next few weeks. I’d like to order rub rail. No vendors keep it on hand here.

Can anyone suggest one for a seafari 25? I did a search and didn’t find much here

This is the one I’m leaning towards but I’d like to know it fits before I get stuck with something fairly hard to return.

Thank and have a great day!

Thank you, anybody used a particular model? I’d like a white with stainless insert.

I was hoping somebody could state this model fits our boats perfectly. I tried calling them for some samples but couldn’t get through.

Maybe I’m overthinking this?

So I did get in touch with taco marine. They will send out a sample if you beg nicely and pay shipping. You need to email [email protected] and they will work with you hopefully.

I’ve requested the following samples:

1. Suproflex V11-9960WCM60-2
2. V11-9811wcm70-2 This kit is sold on amazon as semi-rigid
3. V21-9679 This is in the catalog for all seacraft but according to one vendor the insert may not coil or is a pain to ship.

#1 is latest greatest product
#2 seems most budget friendly.
No clue about #3...

Ty for this.

Taco’s marketing is great. Their customer service not so much. After all that work I still don’t have a quote in shipping and not one response from Katherine Meza at taco. rick at least responded but nothing’s gotten done. I’m looking for alternatives. From what I can tell their products are great, service not so much.

Here’s what I was trying to get samples of:
I need samples for my boat restoration of:
1. Suproflex V11-9960WCM60-2 with insert
2.V11-9811wcm70-2 I believe this can be coiled and is sold as a kit
3. V21-9679- only if it and it’s insert can be coiled For shipping. If not please disregard as shipping will be cost prohibitive.

Integrity seems to be much less expensive.

I did promise up front to give a fair and balanced review so this is all I can do after 2 weeks of trying.

Is there no big ship yard over there that might carry some samples? Over here in N Calif there is Svendsons marine in Alameda and they carry lots of rub rail and have samples.

Nope. There’s only 1 builder on my side of the island.

Not even a west marine on my island. All the shops that have supplies will have to special order to get it in.

May just have to bite the bullet and order a kit and hope for the best.
