Default 1976 SeaCraft Sceptre 23 Potter full transom 95% Restored BRING ALL OFFERS

Unfortunately I had something else that came along that is better suited for my needs right now. It's 95% done. List of things done are below. Story on the boat is I picked it up from a friend that had let it sit for about 2 years. I went in and re-corred the needed spots and fixed whatever needed addressing. I know what it's worth and what it will bring completed. It's priced to sell. I have about +200 hours in fixing it. Everything that went back was with coosa, west system(all WS products for fillers/fairing),1708/1808, and awlgrip

1976 SeaCraft

-200hp Yamaha SWS1 (hours unknown) 125LBS on all CYL. Full Carb Re-build of carbs done about a month 1/2 ago

-Converted over to full transom with aft fishbox which was just re-corred by me (ALL work done with west system and Coosa and 1708)

-Re-cored bow, gunnels, bow, and floor where needed.

-Complete rewire done with Anchor wire(tinned copper) and marine grade fittings and connectors bluewater hardware

-Curtains were done about 3 years ago. I would give them a solid 7 out of 10. $3800 job

-Top was built and was like $5k(IIRC) about 7 years ago(give or take)

-Trailer is a I beam with 4 brand new tires and 1 new hub. Would give it a 6.5 out of 10

-Inside/topside outside was rolled using ALL Awlgrip. (needs nonskid)

-New Spreader lights

-New radio bluetooth Duel. Its ok and nice. Deff not WS or JL but has 4 6.5 marine radio and speakers.

-Tank FULLY cleaned by USA Fuel Services in March (No known tank problems and was inspected)

-Top mount riggers BASE ONLY(no poles)

-2 brand new RULE auto bilge pumps

I know I'm missing a bunch, but yeah...if you have any questions please ask

NEEDING TO BE FINISHED

-The motor has a rough idol....I've had the carbs re-built by a yamaha tech at the local marina and they should be good to go. Pulled plugs and one is dirty, it has to be a bad coil for that cyl. It has 125 on all cyl so yeah.

-Needs bottom paint. I've done 80% of the sanding and removal. Your choice if you want to blast it and not go back with it, or finish scuffing and re-apply new bottom paint. Your call

-Aft(just AFT) was taken down past the Gel to bare glass. Needs fairing/primer/paint. You'd need to do that anyway when you paint the hull(well the hull won't need as much as the aft since I took it down, but yeah)

-Bracket needs to be patched(has swim platform and floatation). It has a minor leak.

-Primer and paint outside hull

-The cabin.....had some bubbles in gel(prob from factory) so I took it down and it needs to be finished.

-Transom. I could KILL whoever did this and it was done by a shop....but the full transom conversion was done and filled with wood. Well they only did the cutout area. Its solid as a rock there, but there is like a 2ft section all the way around it on the sides that should be re-corred in the future. Your choice if you only want to address that area, or do the whole transom. There isn't any flex in the transom itself, but it will need to be done within the next year or two.

-Tabs need to be added (old ones broke, so took them off and filled)

-Honestly.....I rolled the Awlgrip. Unfortunately when you roll awl grip, you use a brush reducer which is SLOW set. This allows things to fall in it and it had a slow tack time. Wasn't a main concern to me because I wanted a 5ft part job and with the added strength of Awlgrip, I wasn't worried about it in the least bit. Its use was going to be a spear/fishing slayer, so I cared more about how strong it was going to hold up vs it being a show boat. And if you use like kiwi grip, it will honestly hide 80% of the imperfections.

-No electronics

For someone who wants to do very little work and don't want to do any grinding...this is your boat. She's solid as a rock in her core, it just needs to be wrapped up. I will consider a trade of a dinghy and/or motor for dinghy for partial trade. Boat is priced to sell and will not last. Does it need a little work, sure but the price has been way adjusted to adjust this. Someone is going to get a awesome sled that you're going to be able to put your custom touches on.
