Default Long Point camping Thanksgiving

Went with several friends. First time taking the boat there.
Had some really gnarly looking bottom that I fixed with a partial sheet of plywood and some outdoor carpet.
The grand kids had more fun with the bait than with fishing.
Oh and we had Gator one night for dinner

Looks like a great trip! Yep, that side is great for small boats...the other side stays deep at low tide for our sized boats. Good memories of past CSC Gatherings.

Thought I saw a blue boat there once...hard to say with all the rain.

The flying 25`s.

The mullet surfing the wakes for 100 yards on the turn for the cut.
A very special morning.

Thought I saw a pirogeee there.

Left the fifthwheel at home. I seem to be collecting campers.

Was wondering if that "special morning" was after you and your sleeping bag had dried out after sleeping on the "five star", almost level picnic table bed? I may have the years messed up, however you have to be impressed with a little guy sleeping on a picnic table without rolling off into the water!!
