Default La Habana

Just came back from a week in Cuba...spent 5 days in Havana, and 2 days out in the country side.

When was the last time you seen one of these around?

The background scene looks like a movie set that is portraying a scene from the fifties and sixties. Can you imagine the gear heads and classic car nuts(myself included )that are dreaming of the possibility of getting their hands on these classics.
Maybe I could get a mini barge and tow one of the classics home by sea behind my Tsunami.
And yes more pictures please.

I am not sure of the dates...but lets just say 1990's. A Law was passed in Cuba outlawing the export of the old cars...they deemed them a national treasure and all cars must stay in Cuba.

Here are a few more pictures. Some iron restored some not.

Be sure and check out the 55-6 Chevy with a diesel in it. Most cars do not have the original drive train...that is hidden away in the back 40, and they swap out a diesel for economy.
