That's cool, I have got into them once like that before. One fun afternoon. I got some pics somewhere. Cant wait till the big boys come in to spawn this summer. Caught and released a 53",46" and 38" drum last time I went to the Sholes.

You gotta love it!!

We have them schooling in the Mosquito Lagoon like that...
It is an awesome site when you come up on a big school of
slot reds like that on a flat with their tails sticking out of the water!

You start shaking, sweating, and fidgeting...

Nice pic !!

Tell me about it! First Bumpdraft posts a picture of a giant Dolphin, then Martin puts one up with enough Redfish to walk across the channel on and now I'm develop'in a nervous twitch like Inspector Dreyfus. Somebody tell me what I need to drag around at the Sebastian Gathering to hook up one of those dolphins. Skiblet, Chuckles, Kmoose, Bumpdraft, Donny, NoBones, what do I need to gather up at the local tackle boutique - DogFish!

We tried a lot of different skirts last year but the Island Flasher series in pink and purple beat everything 3 to 1 on the dolphin and wahoo we caught. We used them with local pre-rigged hoo and were happy all day. I just bought a couple from Tampa Bay Outfitters last week. They have them in stock at the best prices I've found. The color combo is a little difficult to find elsewhere.

They spawn offshore over where I'm at in late February. Didn't make the window this year but I always try to get my dad out for them if weather permits. Can't keep them in Federal waters but it's fun to catch them all day in 60'.

I found some old Pics of some bigger drum that came out of my back yard, these were caught inland on the shoals of the Pamlico sound about 15 minutes from the house. I caught 3 that night, one 38", one in the mid 40's", and one that was over 50lbs and longer than 50's"
