Default Bimini crossing: Early August.

Ok Pirates,

Who wants to make The Run?

All know I am dying to do this, so let`s hear your thoughts.

Fishing regs changed a few years ago.

I think bug season starts 8-1.

Here`s a good link for intel.

Hell Yeah! Weech`s is booked, but we have others to call.

I`ll warm up the slacker phone.

No conch w/o Bahamian receipt. 60 lbs whole fish max. Wow things have changed.

Cheers,
Slacker 1 over.

Susan already has the week before off, so not sure about switching it because it could be a zoo if too many people swarm the place - they don't do that well unswarmed LOL

Actually guys, I'm headed over the weekend of the 23 and 24th this month to Port Lucaya. We're going to check into West End and then make the run around the point over to Lucaya. I'm leaving early friday the 22nd out of Stuart and coming home on monday the 25th. Just a short getaway for some yellowfin fishing. I'm running my 23 sea ox along with a friend in his 28 grady if anyone is interested in making the run. I've been looking for some more people to go across with being that safety travels in numbers. I know it's short notice but let me know if you're interested.

Is anyone still thinking of Bimini for late July or early August? My dad and I have been itching to make the crossing for a few years now, and I think this summer is the summer! We're in a SF 20 ft SeaCraft, looking for a quick trip over to fish and dive.
