Default Tsunami/ Sceptre Cabin Cushions

Has anyone Re-done thier interior cabin cushions? I am in the process and would like to hear what you guys are using. Material, thickness, etc. Is there a special marine grade padding material ideal for making the cushions? Thanks

Default Re: Tsunami/ Sceptre Cabin Cushions

I bought closed cell foam and some fabric from an upholstery/fabric store and we did it ourselves. Materials alone were in the $3-400 range. We also made additional covers out of some big towels from Costco. There's no way around the fact that it's going to get wet. There's also no getting around the fact that vinyl, although waterproof, is not very comfortable. That's why we opted for this less expensive but easily washable and replaceable covering. We just throw it all in the washing machine a few times a year. I felt vinyl would eventually mildew.
