Default not trout

Although I spend half the year in South Florida fishing, the other half of the year in Colorado has little other than trout which often fails to adequately scratch the itch. In the past month I've been to Mexico twice to catch fish other than trout. I got home last night from a week of fishing in Puerto Vallarta. I fished with a captain that started out down there by towing a 20' SeaCraft from Seattle all the way to Puerto Vallarta ten years ago. Although he now runs a bigger boat, he talks fondly of that little boat. Here are a few pix from day before yesterday:

It was a slow week on cows (YFT over 200#). A few 150-180#s but not the monster that everyone headed there is after. I went alone on this one and the captain shot those images. The main posting of the trip will be on Bloodydecks later in the day with all the images I shot.

I cannot recommend Esperanza Sportfishing highly enough. Kurt Hjort really knows what he's doing and is a pleasure to spend the day fishing with.

Nice sized Donkey you hooked up to What'd he scale at or did you tag and release? In Hawaii that guy would end up as smoked marlin. He's just the right size too! Congratulations What's your link on bloody decks? I'd like to check out the rest of your adventure. Aloha on a nice catch, Greg

Mark-
Now that's what the 1/2 year of living in Colorado should look like . You timed the trip well considering the snow you got the week or two before. Dang.......
