sailfish
My brother-in-law was visiting from Colorado over the past four days so we did a bit of fishing. We fished three days and managed his first two sailfish, two snook, several jacks, 12 dolphin, two bonito, and more remora's than we'd have liked. The winds laid down nicely even if it was slightly out of the Southwest which meant running 18 miles out for the dolphin on Sunday. The sailfish were eager to eat yesterday and the first sail to the boat came with a friend that we tried unsuccessfully to hook. The second sail ate about 30 minutes after the first. Although he enjoyed the sailfish, I think the dozen dolphin on the fly rod may have edged out the sailfish in the fun category. Here are some sailfish shots from yesterday:

Re: sailfish
The sailfish were only five miles out (you can actually see white condo's on the beach on the left horizon of that first image), the dolphin the previous day were what required a bit of a hike.

Re: sailfish
got wet - just wish I'd had a mask along so I could have seen what I was taking a picture of
Yeah go figure Mark, Been in Saltwater my whole life diving and still have that "flash back" fear when the dive master ripped my mask off at 60 ft. I still cannot open my eyes under water. With all the great photos that you take, I'll bet a dollar to a donut next time you will have a mask on the boat! See ya, Ken
