Default Prop suggestions 20MA

I just bought a 20 MA and the standard Merc prop is lame, the motor is high, the current prop is a standard Merc SS with almost no cup, 5600 WOT but also no bow lift at all and it breaks loase easy. Need a prop with longer blades and cup as I had my V8 jacked high and had the same problem with OMC SST props. There are just so many new props out there, any suggestions?

Eggs - What HP merc are you running?

See if you can find a place that will let you try out the props before you buy them. I really liked the HighFive on my MA. That prop likes to run high. I have a 19 Mirage Plus and a 21 Merc Offshore that I'm going to try out this afternoon. I'll post some numbers.

The Mirage Plus 19 is the fastest so far. 50.8 mph @ 5800rpm.
The Mirage Plus 17 tach'd out at 6000/6100rpm 49mph.
21 Mercury offshore couldn't spin over 5000rpm w/ the 1.87 gearcase.

Eggs there are three other props I'd like to try someday.

Merc Laser II 19
Merc Tempest Plus 19
Merc Enertia 19

The Mirage Plus is a great prop . . . More vibration that the 4 or 5 blades, but very very nice. The prop gives the boat the perfect ammount of lift and the ride doesn't get squirelly at high speeds . . . like the Michigan Rapture (which I hated). It holds pretty well in the turns too.
