Hope this makes you guys happy!
Well I went ahead and did it!
My lawyer disappeared on me...Texas Board Certified???....I have not been able to get in touch with him for a month. So I did the repaires and she is ship shape again. I sea trialed her in 6 foot seas on Sunday 1-2-05 and nothing broke after I ran her pretty hard. Here is a before and after of the knees I put in to shore up the transom. I removed the liner under the console so I could find why the deck was so loose and I found they never put enough putty between the deck and the stringers. I fill the gaps with Coosa board and then used epoxy resin to glass them in place. This is what I put in between the back of the console and the cross stringer that is in front of the fuel tank. I now have the deck in contact in 6 different spots around the under side of the console to hold it in place. Here is the one on the starboard front corner and port side. After I removed the liner under the console I also decided to not re-use the liner and I used the remaining sheet of Coosa Board to make areas for the batteries and oil tankss to be mounted to, plus a new floor in the bottom of the storage area.

Re: Hope this makes you guys happy!
Is that all it took to square your boat up and make her solid? A little more work and attention to details when she was built could of prevented the nightmare. Good luck with her.

Re: Hope this makes you guys happy!
Capt. You shouldn't be worried about making us happy just yourself. It's a shame you lost so much time and money chasing this only to have to fix it yourself. But the repair work looks first class. Are you planning to gelcoat it to pretty it up a bit? The next thing I would do is to get a spot at the next boat show and set up a booth detailing your problems and the lack of support from company. Show all the pictures and all of the paper work along with the crappy repair work they did and what you had to do to fix it right.i'm sure you'll find others wit hthe same problem and with number i'm sure you'll get some type of action from the company. And find a new lawyer and sue the crap out of the first.

It really is a shame they didn't take care of it. I was able to do all the work without ever openning the deck up. Once the liner under the console was out everything was sitting right there. I had a plan to put the liner back in, but once I seen they had stringers that mirrored the shape of the liner I choose to leave it out because it now gives me more room. I am going to paint everything with "BilgeCoat" so it will look a bit more professional, but I want to be sure it is going to stay together first. I bought some of the aerosol gelcoat so I can patch up some places and I had to move my tow hooks when I installed the knees. So I have to patch those holes too. When I'm finished it should look like new/never been touched. The work that was done in Tenneesse has caused more for me to repair....the cracks the boat had originally were not as bad as the ones that devoloped from where they tried to repair it.

Ha Captn C
I sure am glad you are back in the water again. Your work looks good and best of all it’s all done. Now you can go get some of those Yellowfins out in the gulf you use to tell us about. Have fun life is short and there is a lot of fish yet to catch before you are done. Capt. C,
I think we all share your frustration with the process you went though. However, I am glad to see you make things happen and get her back on the water. The prop-out-of-water test is truly the best test for hull stress. Glad she passed and good work.

Yep, a tuna trip is on the top of my list as soon as the weather gives me a break. They have been catching Yellowfin up to 165lbs just down the coast from me! I can't wait to get out there. Thanks for all the help and tips from all of you. I would have never attempted it if it weren't for you guys. I totaled it up last night and I have over 80 hours of work in the repairs. Thanks again to everyone!
