Default Leveling Rear Deck Question...

I was wondering if any of you have some suggestions for leveling the deck on my 23'CC. I took it off this weekend to rewire, replace some fuel lines and to locate the two fuel senders in the rear fuel tanks. The front and rear of the deck is flush, but the center of the deck dips and creates an awkward slope, it is right about where the two supports go for the leaning post. I don't really want to get into fiberglassing, but was looking to fill the gap with wood splintz or some sort of compound since it dips in completely random places. Any thoughts would be much appreciated...BG

BG,
Sounds like you need to rebuild the hatch. I think Scott just did his.It will involve fiberglass work if you want to do it "right".

If you dont want to rebuild the hatch for the season a temporary "jury Rig" would be to get some 1/2"closed cell foam gasket material and this might help you out. You can probably find some of this at a pick-up truck or RV cap shop. Good luck, craig

Thanks HermCo...right after I posted the question I told myself, why don't you do the opposite and build up the hatch rather than the floor, sometimes you've got to see things written down in order to find the answer...thanks for the feedback.
